We believe that everyone — regardless of income level — deserves access to tools that help them make informed decisions about mortgages, retirement, debt, and savings.
We are not a bank, broker, lender, or financial advisor. We don't sell products, push loans, or try to upsell you on anything. Our tools are simply calculators — sophisticated, accurate, and built around real financial formulas used by industry professionals.

Every calculation on FinanceToolbox happens entirely within your web browser. When you enter your income, savings balance, or loan details, that information never leaves your device. We do not transmit, store, or process your financial inputs on our servers. There is nothing to log in to and no account to create.

FinanceToolbox is free to use and always will be. The site is funded through display advertising (Google AdSense and similar networks). You'll see clearly labeled advertisement areas on our pages. These ads are how we keep the lights on. We do not accept sponsored content, paid calculator rankings, or affiliate commissions that could compromise the neutrality of our tools.
Our calculators use standard financial formulas — the same ones used in banking, actuarial science, and financial planning software. Every formula is documented in our Methodology page. We review our tools regularly and update them when tax laws, interest rate environments, or contribution limits change.
That said, our calculators are educational tools, not professional financial advice. Results are estimates based on the assumptions you enter.
